The "Cat Cave" is very well constructed, and the vibrant colors shown online are accurately represented. It is every bit as bright and colorful in person. The scent is interesting, but only noticeable to the human nose when you actually put your face up to the wool. This isn't to say that it smells bad because it certainly doesn't. The "Cat Cave" looks so good that I'm hesitant to put it in one of the cats' 'hiding spots,' bc it just looks so darn good - ESPECIALLY for a cat bed.
Because the Cat Caves are a bit of an investment- considering that you don't know how your kitties will take to it, I only ordered 1 for my two cats to see how it would be recieved. It arrived yesterday, and Juno and Telly took turns climbing in. They spent the night in bed with me as usual; however this morning, after playing and eating - they're back in the 'Cave.' If it stands the test of time, in terms of holding their interest, I plan to get another.
Regardless of the uncertainty related to how the cats would take to the Cat Cave, I was happy to make this purchase based upon the ethical, sustainable nature of the company and their story. Providing women with fair paying jobs is a real selling point. Keep up the great work. What the world needs is more companies to operate by your standards.

What a fun addition to my kitty world at home! I have 2 spunky 2 year old male kitties who race around the house rumbling. As soon as I introduced their new Cat Cave, I looked and they were both inside of it! One tail and 2 feet were sticking out They rolled around in it and have a ball with their new cave. The construction of the cave is soft, so now they have it flattened into a bowl, and one is sleeping in it curled up and cozy. They love their Cat Cave ... and so do I! Many thanks!

At first our cat was hesitant to explore the cave. We just left it out and didn’t try to introduce it to him. On his own he later decided to check it out. Now it’s his favorite cozy place to sleep!

My Bombay 6 yr old cat liked it as soon as I presented it to her. I put a couple of treats in if, she climbed in and spent some time. The next day, she went in by herself. Took a nice nap.

It took only a few seconds until one of my cat decided that the cat cave was going to be her bed. It’s been a week and she still uses it everyday! I love the look, I put it on the bed in our guest room and it adds a pop of color to the bedding. Terrifyingly awesome product! I say terrifying, because we just spent an hour looking inside and outside for our new rescue thinking she had escaped us only to finally have her raise her head out of the cat cave and look annoyed at us for disturbing her peaceful nap. Great product and will definitely be checking there first next time she goes missing!

Rua could not wait for the cat cave to come out of the box! Both cats took to them immediately. Rua loves to curl up in it, while the kitten prefers to take a running leap from across the room, squash it flat, and then curl up on it. I love that the colors are so rich, and the wool is so thick. It seems to be very durable, as the cats do also love to tumble in and around it all over the living room. I am never quite sure where I am going to find it! I am glad that I ordered two! Also, I am very impressed that they were shipped so quickly.

My big cat loves it the most. The hole tho is t big enough for her (I need an xxl if that’s a thing). She loves sleeping on top of it and scrunches into a bed. The quality is awesome. Would def buy again if there is a larger size

My Razzie is very picky about her beds. The minute I took this out of the box she climbed inside and started scratching to claim it as hers. It's stable enough for her to either lay on it or use as a cave. After she has layed on it for a few days and decides she wants a cave, she puts her head inside the hole and climbs inside and pushes the walls up to its original shape. She is really attracted to the material it is made out of and might have some wool in it. Keeps her warm at night and cool in the day. My Razzie and I give it 5 's
