Our signature Cat Cave is a cozy and comfortable cat bed handmade in Nepal from all-natural, New Zealand merino wool.
Our cats love the Cat Cave because:

- The all-natural, merino wool is soft and naturally temperature regulating, keeping our feline friends warm during the cold nights and cool during the hot days.
- Merino wool is naturally moisture wicking -, so spills and accidents won't leave our pets soggy and wet
- Did we mention that cats LOVE the natural lanolin smell from sheep's wool?
They are easy to clean! Just hand wash in lukewarm water, re-shape while wet and leave to dry naturally. Your cave will look brand new in no time.

Each Cat Cave is hand-made by women artisans in Nepal, who are paid fair-trade wages to ensure they get rewarded for their craftsmanship. The Cat Caves are hand-felted with all-natural, New Zealand merino wool.

The Cat Cave measures 19 in. wide and 10 in. high with a hole that is 7-9 in. in diameter. It can comfortably accommodate 12 lb. cats, but our 16 lb. Maine Coon also happily snuggles up in it.

Are Cat Caves water resistant?
Yes, our Merino Felted Wool caves are naturally water resistant - and can even be washed in the washing machine via a gentle cycle with wool detergent or hand wash in lukewarm water, press out any excess water and re-shape while wet, then leave to dry naturally.
My Cat Cave arrived folded - how do I set its shape?
We ship our Cat Caves folded for faster processing and more affordable shipping; upon arrival, manually fluff it out into a circular shape, and after a few hours it will hold the shape permanently.
Is the Cat Cave safe for my cat?
Yes! Our materials are free from harmful chemicals or synthetic additives - the Cave is safe for your cat, and is even scratch-resistant!
What if my cat doesn't like their Cat Cave?
Cats love the scent of lanolin, a natural oil found in wool. We rarely receive feedback on cats not loving their Cat Cave, and our return rate is incredibly low. That said, if you or your cat are not satisfied with their product, we will support you in processing a refund. We stand by our Caves!
Will the color and shape look different to what is in the pictures?
Each Cat Cave is handmade so measurements may vary slightly. The wool is 100% naturally dyed and left to dry outside, therefore there may be slight variations to color and size as a result. The brightness on your device will also affect the color.
My order is late, who do I contact?
We our proud of near-two day shipping on all US orders, but sometimes things happen... if your order has been delayed, please reach out to support@catcaveco.com, and we will respond within 24 hours.
Where are the Cat Caves from and how are they made?
Our Merino wool is sustainably sourced from New Zealand, and imported into Nepal where the wool is cleaned and dyed by local artisans. No chemicals are used in the process.
I ordered more than one item, but only received one... where's my order?
Some of our items ship separately from different locations so please do not worry if you do not receive all your items at once, they are on the way.
