I bought three,, two for us and one for a friend. Pearl and Kiwi weren't too sure what they were at first, so I put them in the places where they like to sleep. I think I will love this, but still have cats getting used to it. One has adopted it snd it seems to be like a safe little cocoon. I am hoping others will it. Seems to be made well and sturdy, the felt finish looks good and must be cozy, helps it maintain its shape.

My cat is crazy! At first she didn’t know what it was all about. Then I saw her crouching down like a lion ready to attack. She shot off like a rocket and jumped over the laundry basket and straight into the cave with out touching the sides. Then peek out! It was really cute!

Most of the time he wants to be on our laps if he can, but sometimes when he wants to get some sleep or when he’s hiding from our dog in an endless game of sneak attack the dog isn’t actually playing, he loves to hide in his cave! Well, I love both of the cat caves I bought for my cats, they have not so far used them. They checked them out, but that’s it. I hope that changes, these caves are beautiful and beautifully made. I gave one to my brother’s family at Christmas for their cat- she LOVES it. I sent in a cute photo: she started using her cave to sleep in within hours of it being given to her.

My ageing cat looks for warm places to sleep. If there is no sunny spot, she heads for the cat cave. Generally, I am not permitted to reach in to pet her--it is HER cave. So happy she has a happy place to sleep. The felted wool is attractive and snuggly. This is a great product.

Jasmine approved of her new CatCave in about 15 seconds of seeing it. She walked inside but did have to leave a hind leg out for a couple of seconds just in case . She curled up inside after a good sniff and all is well for the Queen of the Condo.

Our cat really loves it. She's so cute when we walk past her in the Cat Cave and she pokes her head out to peek at us. If you notice in the picture... we did purchase a plush cat bed to put under it to make it softer for her. She stays in it longer with that under her. That could be a great improvement for you to "build in" a plushy bottom to the Cat Cave.

Cleo loves her Cat Cave so much! She loves to carry her toys inside of it and then chase them around inside until either them, or her fall out. She loves to either pounce from inside of it or sit on top and use it as a look it when playing. After she has her fun, she loves to cuddle up inside and I can't get enough of how cute she is in it- her eyes really pop with the blue. I was skeptical at first because it is a little pricier, but it is so worth it! My parents have 2 cats, and after hearing about how much Cleo loves it, and seeing her in action, they're also going to get 1 for each of their cats! Thanks so much Cat Cave Co!!!

I don't have a cat at this time, but I bought a cat cave for my daughter's cat, and one for my son's cat. My son sent an email telling me that the moment the cave hit the floor, the cat was inside. This cat was adopted from Indonesia, and now lives in northern Montana. He has adjusted to Montana weather, but stays near the wood burning stove during the winter. The cave is just going to make his life that much more comfortable!
The cave for my daughter's cat is a Christmas present so her reaction well be delayed until then!

I thought the cat cave was very well made. The colors, beautiful. It looked great in my home. However, our cat, Jasper, had other ideas. I showed him the cave and he took one look and ran away. I placed treats, and catnip in it, but nope, he'd get the treats out and walk away.
I placed the cat cave near a chest, where his old cardboard box (that he loved) used to be. Granted, I bought the cave in late summer and it was pretty hot. He ignored it for months. One cold rainy day in October, I couldn't find him anywhere. I found him snuggled in his cave, seemingly content. It took awhile, but he finally accepted it. Success!
Now I have a pretty cat cave and a pretty happy cat.

Obviously, I love the color as it matches my boy. He climbed right in the first day to nap. Then did not seem interested for some days. Then I played with him and he jumped in and out. I don't have any good photos yet. But of our four cats, three have really taken to the caves, which have, thus, become peripatetic features of our household -- up to to the bedroom, into my wife's office, into the bedroom... And we often need to look closely to see if anyone's in residence, since they curl up and feel secure. Anyway, they are lovely objects in themselves, subtly coloured and beautiful in every context (though especially so with a cat in them) and we are delighted with them.

The cats circled warily for two days as if the caves were cat killers. I sprayed a bit of liquid cat nip in both. Within minutes I had all 6 cats hopping in and out. One of my cats likes to sit on the cave, squashing it flat, but another cat has figured out how to get inside the flattened cave. It was a good buy and they will love them this winter when it gets chilly in the house.
